The Art of Joining Things
About Me
Hey, I’m Chris — also known as Connector. Welder by trade. Maker by instinct.
I join things. Materials. Ideas. Sometimes people.
Sometimes it holds. Sometimes it breaks. Just like life.
I'm not here to be a guru — because I’m not one.
So why this blog? Not to tell you how to do things. But to explore why we do them.
I believe your own approach is worth more than copying someone from YouTube with better lighting and a sponsor.
Think about it: You can watch the Kardashians all day — but would you want their life? Exactly. What I believe in:
- Don’t learn the effect. Learn the process.
- Don’t judge by the shine. Judge by the strength.
- Don’t believe everyone online. Trust your own hands.
- Mistakes are honest. They teach more than tutorials.
- Everyone works at their own pace. You don’t need speed — just presence.
- There’s power in silence. That’s where focus lives.
- Share if you can. Receive if it’s offered.
- Clean up when the job’s done — it shows respect.
- No boasting. No bashing. Just quality.
- If you say you “know” — prove it by learning more.
That’s why I post here. Not as an expert, but as someone who's still learning — and thinking with their hands.
If something here sparks a thought, solves a problem, or just makes you stop for a second — that’s the win.
Because I’m not here to be your expert. You already are. You just need to unlock it.
May the force (and the weld) be with you.
